The ideal material for treatment with invisible aligners
It took us years of research and testing to finally find the ideal material for our aligners, the one that offers the best compromise betweentreatment efficiency and patient comfort.
Perfect material specifications :
Could there be a material that meets all these requirements? After searching everywhere, the answer is “No”.
No single material could achieve this level of performance. So we found a way to combine high-performance materials in a double-shell structure.
French Aligner material:
A three-layer structure
To meet these objectives, we opted for an innovative three-layer structure.
This consists of a layer of flexible elastomer sandwiched between two layers of stronger PETG:
The aligner’s core layer has been specially designed to generate a lower force on initial insertion, while having an elastic recovery to provide greater tooth displacement forces over time than with standard thermoplastic materials.
A template gutter
A unique plastic has been specifically created for this step.
Thanks to its extreme precision, the cleats adhere perfectly to the patient’s teeth.
This isa real revolution in terms of materials for Alignurs, and we hope our practitioners and patients will appreciate it! After all, our aim is to have successful treatments with dental movements that follow the initial prescription and therefore happy patients.
